Port of Whitman County Hosts Social Media for Artisans Workshop

Free business workshop set for Thursday, May 8, at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown

WHITMAN COUNTY – The Port of Whitman County invites Whitman County business owners to its Social Media for Artisans workshop. The workshop will be held on Thursday, May 8 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Dahmen Barn, 419 N. Park Way, Uniontown, WA 99179.

Led by marketing strategist Josh King of Tinderbox Marketing , the event aims to help artists, artisans, and craftspeople learn practical ways to use social media to promote their business, build their brand and grow their audience. The format includes one hour of instruction followed by Q&A and one-on-one support.

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop (recommended), tablet or smartphone with Wi-Fi access to follow along and apply what they learn in real time.

The Port of Whitman County, as Whitman County’s Associate Development Organization , serves as the county’s agency for economic development, working alongside businesses, local communities, and tourism efforts. As a part of this work, the Port supports business training opportunities and resources for businesses in Whitman County.
