The Port of Almota serves as a major grain-shipping terminal for the Palouse region and is the former site of the now submerged historic town of Almota. The Port of Almota is the smallest of our three on-water ports with approximately 10.5 acres. The site includes utilities, approximate storage capacity of 3.7 million bushels, a public port with sheet pile dock and dolphins and a maintained access road.
The Port of Almota is located on the Snake River, four miles down river of the Lower Granite Lock and Dam.
