- The Port of Almota serves as a major grain-shipping terminal for the Palouse region. Located on the Snake River, four miles downriver of the Lower Granite Lock and Dam, this port is the former site of the now submerged historic town of Almota, where Lewis and Clark stopped on their historic voyage through the Pacific Northwest.

- Smallest of our three on-water ports with approximately 10.5 acres.

- One individual well (about 37 gpm at 90-100 feet).

- Current approximate storage capacity 3,687,000 bushels
